A Reminder of What Makes Us Human.

I walked out into the darkness, confused and concerned - the robots are coming, whether we like it or not.

It hadn’t been a trip to the cinema to see some futuristic sci-fi movie. I’d just left a lecture called “Thriving In The World With AI” where an expert explained what might unfold over the next ten years.

AI will sweep through our lives so fast that I don’t truly think anyone knows the effect it may have. One things for sure, change is coming, and the world we're preparing our children for now, will soon no longer exist.

So what will matter most in this new world where we live alongside robots?

Ironically and wonderfully it’s the same timeless values:

Our intention.

Our empathy.

Our creativity.

Artificial Intelligence has none of these.

Hopefully, with AI taking care of our health, finances, travel, and even our thinking….. we’ll finally have more time to nurture these superhuman powers. The qualities that make us truly alive.

Our yoga practice can be the space that reminds us to slow down, reconnect, and grow these very qualities of awareness, compassion, and imagination. So we can use them for the good of all.

Maybe this week, take a moment to reconnect with your human superpowers. Your ability to feel, to imagine, to care.

Thank you for being here. Sending love and kindness,
