Light Always Finds A Way.

Darkness and light make up all our lives.

Sometimes one outweighs the other.

As we drove to Scotland on Friday to visit my family, the rain battered the car. Dark clouds and wind surrounded us. Then, out of nowhere, came the most beautiful rainbow, the biggest and brightest I have ever seen.

It felt like light was reminding us how powerful it can be as its beauty turned the dial down on the strength of the darkness around us.

It felt like a metaphor for life. When our lives get dark we must remember the rainbows. Trusting that the light will return, because one cannot exist without the other.

Without darkness, there can be no light.

Sometimes the light takes its time. But when it does appear, it brings with it peace, wonder and a quiet sense of knowing just like those unbelievable colours painting the sky.

Light is love. And love is the antidote to darkness.

So today, perhaps these words can be a small reminder to keep looking for the light.

And I'm sending you big, beaming, bright rainbows, and my gratitude for taking the time to read my words.

Thank you for being here. Sending love and kindness,

Laura x

P.S. If you’d like to create a little more light in your week, my Thursday Virtual Yoga class is a lovely place to start. I’d love to have you there. x
