What the waves helped me remember.

I had the pleasure of witnessing the ocean from the Silver Sands of Morar this week.

A special spot from my childhood that I have not stood in for thirty years.

As I watched the crashing waves then foaming on the shore it reminded me of a Thich Nhat Hanh quote that I would like to share with you:

"Enlightenment for a wave is the moment the wave realises it is water."

As I stood there, watching the ocean, I felt something soften in me. That quote reminded me that we are not separate from nature - we are nature. Connected. One. Held.

The thought of being part of something bigger, steady and whole can sometimes sooth and calm our bodies and minds.

Thank you for being here. Sending love and kindness,

Laura x
